Functional restriction measures keep partial functionality by limiting or degrading the function: restricting it for specific use cases (for example reducing lane keeping steering torque when lane detection is poor, limiting the ODD by environment, geography or time, constraining the driving policy, or continuing with reduced authority when one sensor is impaired), or removing authority for specific use cases, with a takeover request, for example in a snowstorm that blinds all perception sensors or at toll booths and unmarked roadworks.
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
