ISO 19650 - Organisation and Digitisation of Information about Buildings and Civil Engineering Works (BIM) 4:7.4: 7.4 Communication

What does 4:7.4 require?

The information reviewer makes sure nothing in the exchange is, or will be, lost or degraded when translated or converted for storage. Sources of degradation to weigh include altered date or calendar conventions, changed measurement units, and different character encodings; ways to compare include visual inspection, reports, file sizes and checksums. Because degradation only appears after the exchange, the reviewer and provider can run tests together during mobilization.
