ISO 19650 - Organisation and Digitisation of Information about Buildings and Civil Engineering Works (BIM) 1:6.1: 6.1 Principles of the information delivery cycle

What does 1:6.1 require?

Four principles govern the specification and delivery of information: information is needed for decisions throughout the asset life cycle within the asset management system; it is specified progressively through the appointing party's sets of requirements and planned and delivered progressively by delivery teams, with reference information sometimes provided; where a delivery team has several parties, requirements pass to the party best placed to provide the information; and exchange uses a CDE with open standards where possible and clearly defined procedures; applied proportionately.
