ISO 19650 - Organisation and Digitisation of Information about Buildings and Civil Engineering Works (BIM) 1:4.3: 4.3 Information management perspectives

What does 1:4.3 require?

Different perspectives should be recognised in the specification of requirements, the planning of delivery and the delivery of information, defined case by case; four are recommended: the asset owner's (purpose and strategic decisions: business plan, portfolio review, life cycle cost analysis), the asset user's (true requirements and the right qualities: project brief, AIM, PIM, product documentation), the project delivery or asset management perspective (plan, mobilise, coordinate: BIM execution plans, organization charts, function definitions) and society's (the community's interest: political decisions, area plans, permits).
