Clause 4: General requirements for symbol use – ISO 15223-1:2021

ISO 15223-1:2021 4.2b: Size each symbol so it stays legible for its purpose

What does 4.2b require?

The manufacturer decides how large each symbol must be so that it can be read for its intended function on the surface where it appears; the standard sets no colour, no minimum size and no size relative to the information next to the symbol, so the manufacturer's own judgement, documented, carries the decision.
