The organisation examines how averages, extremes, variability and seasonality of the relevant climate parameters have moved in the past and are projected to move (temperature, rainfall, humidity, sea level, wind, freeze-thaw and the like), drawing on climate data centres, scientific reports and official publications, and may bring in non-climatic changes such as trade, land use, demographics, policy and technology. It records the data and information sources it used and the criteria for choosing them, determines whether any impacts create opportunities, identifies the most important impacts and opportunities, documents the assessment process and its findings, and reassesses and updates the assessment as business strategy, the external environment or climate knowledge change.
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
