ISO 10007:2017 5.3.2: Configuration information

Configuration information is made up of definition and operational information: typically requirements and specifications, parts lists, design drawings, test specifications and data models; handbooks covering operation, maintenance and commissioning; and requirements for decommissioning and disposal. It should be relevant and traceable, and naming and numbering conventions that give each item a unique identity should keep configuration items and their associated data and items properly controlled, building on the conventions the organization already uses and on change control details such as revision status.
