Ethical Requirements Definition Process (clause 9) – IEEE 7000

IEEE 7000 9.3(a): Formulate and record ethical value requirements

The project shall set out at least one EVR, each a socio-technical statement describing risk treatment options (technical, organizational or social) that promote and protect the prioritised core values and realise the value demonstrators, with at least one EVR for each high-priority core value and demonstrator; identify the related assumptions and constraints; assess, and mitigate where needed, the risk that EVRs are wrong or incomplete; and document every EVR under its own reference, its associated risks, its prioritised core values and its assumptions and constraints (a register table linking each EVR to its value clusters suffices).
