What does MNT 2.9 require?

The Maintenance Program provides periodic operational and functional checks and evaluations of FDR and CVR recordings to ensure serviceability and the quality of recorded data, and a DLR maintenance program includes periodic evaluation of data link recordings where fitted (MNT 2.9.1, 2.9.2).
