Each maintenance agreement with an external organization documents the safety and quality standards to be fulfilled; a list is kept of the approved external organisations that supply maintenance products and services, with their approval status and scope; relevant training and material are provided to each external organization; monitoring processes (auditing recommended) ensure external AMOs comply with regulations and requirements and have the required approvals; and processes ensure parts and materials come only from approved sources with certification documentation and traceability (MNT 1.11.2 to 1.11.9).
