IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Standards Manual MNT 2.4: Deferred Maintenance

What does MNT 2.4 require?

A maintenance control function approves, controls, monitors and schedules non-routine and deferred maintenance including MEL and CDL items; deferred defects are followed up and rectified inside the intervals of the MEL, CDL or maintenance data; and any process for short-term extensions needs the Authority's approval (MNT 2.4.1 to 2.4.3).
