IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Standards Manual MNT 2.1: Control System

What does MNT 2.1 require?

A maintenance control system acceptable to the Authority keeps every aircraft airworthy, operational and emergency equipment is serviceable, the certificate of airworthiness remains valid, maintenance is done to the Program and released by an approved organization, and defects are corrected or deferred within limits; and guidance monitors oil consumption trends so each flight has sufficient oil (MNT 2.1.1, 2.1.2).
