All ground handling staff undergo training in dangerous goods with recurrent training within 24 months; initial and recurrent training addresses the areas of operations in GRH 2.2.3 applicable to each role (passenger, baggage, ramp, load control, aircraft movement); passenger services, ramp and load control training should include the specified elements; fuelling training should cover safe equipment operation, emergency procedures and fuel quality; and de-icing and anti-icing training should be provided where ground icing occurs (GRH 2.2.1 to 2.2.6).
