IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Standards Manual FLT 2.3: FLT 2.3 Line Qualification

A State-approved or accepted line qualification program of line training and evaluations qualifies flight crew for areas, routes and airports; each pilot receives recurrent training and evaluation at the syllabus standard to stay qualified; SIC line training includes enough pilot monitoring and pilot flying duty to demonstrate proficiency; pilots demonstrate knowledge of the AOC-approved operations; and a command training and evaluation program applies at initial qualification and thereafter as the curriculum defines (FLT 2.3.1 to 2.3.6).
