IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Standards Manual CAB 3.2: CAB 3.2 Cabin Crew Policies and Procedures

Type-specific procedures define cabin crew functions in emergencies and evacuations; procedures provide for evacuation during fuelling with passengers on board with cabin crew at stations and communication with the flight deck; cabin crew verify baggage and cabin cargo are stowed and exits and aisles clear; cabin crew are seated with harnesses fastened for takeoff and landing and when the PIC directs, and should be during taxi; procedures prepare the cabin for takeoff and landing and instruct passengers in an emergency; carts and trolleys have brakes, are checked and are stowed and never left unattended in the aisle; and limits are set for cabin crew resetting tripped circuit breakers (CAB 3.2.1 to 3.2.12).
