IAF MD 2 / Global ACI TECH-3-002 Transfer of Accredited Certification of Management Systems 2.1.3: Complete transfers from a defunct or de-accredited body within six months and tell the accreditation body first

What does 2.1.3 require?

Where the certificate was granted by a body that has stopped trading, or whose accreditation has expired or been suspended or withdrawn, the transfer is completed within six months or by the certificate's expiry, whichever comes first, and before transferring the accepting body informs the accreditation body whose accreditation will cover the new certificate.
