IAF MD 2 / Global ACI TECH-3-002 Transfer of Accredited Certification of Management Systems 2.1.1: Accept for transfer only certification covered by a recognised MLA accreditation

What does 2.1.1 require?

A certification is eligible for transfer only if it sits under an accreditation held by a signatory of the Global ACI Arrangement or of a regional MLA, at MLA level 3 plus levels 4 and 5 where those apply. An organisation whose certificate is not covered by such an accreditation is handled as a new client, with a full initial certification rather than a transfer.
