IACS Unified Requirements E26/E27 - Cyber Resilience of Ships and On-Board Systems E26-4.2.2: E26 4.2.2 Network protection safeguards

Protect zones with firewalls or equivalent as 4.2.1 specifies, guard networks against excessive data rates and other events that degrade service, and apply least functionality so CBSs offer only essential capabilities with unneeded functions, ports, protocols and services disabled. Network design must carry the intended data flow and reduce the risk of denial of service and traffic storms, estimating flow from network capacity, application speed needs and data format.

What else in your programme already covers this

This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
