The producer can show that crop irrigation needs are worked out from data, for example data from local agricultural institutes, rain gauges on the farm, drainage trays in substrate systems, evaporation meters or soil moisture tension meters. Any tools used on the farm are maintained so they stay effective and in good repair. Not applicable only for rain-fed crops.
