Communications between components including wagering devices over the internet or public networks are secured by a regulator-approved means, and player data, wagers, results, sensitive information, and financial and player transaction data are always encrypted and protected from incomplete transmission, misrouting, unauthorised modification, disclosure, duplication and replay.
