GLI-33 - Gaming Laboratories International Event Wagering Systems A.8.3: Location Service Provider Monitoring

What does A.8.3 require?

An operator offering remote wagering, or its regulator-authorised location service provider, where required: maintains a live feed of every location check and a current list of location fraud risks; offers an alert system for unauthorised or improper access; allows periodic audits confirming it can still detect and reduce both known and new forms of location fraud; and ensures the detection service uses frequently updated, periodically tested closed-source IP, proxy and VPN databases and is updated frequently for fraud prevention, device compatibility and the collection of data.
