GLI-33 - Gaming Laboratories International Event Wagering Systems A.4.2: Protection of Player Funds

What does A.4.2 require?

Funds in an operator account belong to the player and sit on trust in a dedicated segregated account, run and controlled by a duly constituted company other than the operator, whose board includes one or more directors who have no ties to the operator or to any company it controls or is related to, with procedures that safeguard and account for wagering funds, make clear that the segregated funds are not the operator's and are unavailable to creditors other than the player, and prevent commingling with other funds including the operator's.
