Germany Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) s54: s 54 Automated individual decisions only when authorised by law, never discriminatory

A decision made purely by automated means with an adverse legal effect or significant effect on the data subject is allowed only where a law authorises it; it may rest on special categories only with suitable safeguards; profiling that discriminates on the basis of special categories is prohibited.
