GAMP 5 - Good Automated Manufacturing Practice 6.2.12: System Retirement

What does 6.2.12 require?

The regulated company takes the computerized system out of service, moving its data to a successor system where relevant, through the withdrawal, decommissioning and disposal activities in section 4.4. It works to a retirement plan that deals with keeping data and records, migrating, archiving or destroying them, verification, the end of support, change management, scheduling and carrying out the work, and it issues a retirement report, as Appendix M10 describes.
