Goods are stored and carried in conditions that protect them: clean, maintained, suitable vehicles and stores, off-floor storage with inspection space, protection from dust, condensation, fumes and odours, temperature and humidity control where needed and a documented stock rotation system. Only electric or battery powered handling equipment is used where food or ingredients are stored, kept clean and maintained. Load history and cleaning of each logistic unit is recorded and available; units are inspected before loading for cleanliness, repair, fitness and odours; unloading practice keeps conditions and integrity intact; loading, transport and unloading prevent damage, spoilage and microbial, physical, chemical and allergen contamination; goods integrity is tested at a set frequency; and drivers have breakdown procedures with emergency contacts, instructions for keeping temperature or other conditions, and checks to make on the load before driving on.
This control maps to 2 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 2 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
