In planning the SMS the organisation takes its context issues, the needs of interested parties and the SMS scope into account and decides which risks and opportunities must be dealt with so the system delivers its intended results, desirable effects grow, undesired ones are prevented or reduced and improvement continues; it keeps documented information on those risks and opportunities and on the processes and actions for determining and addressing them. The FSSC guidance expects actual and potential adverse social impacts the organisation causes, contributes to or is linked to through business relationships to be identified with non-managerial workers involved, ranked by severity to people (scale, scope, remediability) before likelihood, and the method and ranking documented.
This control maps to 2 controls across 2 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 2 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
