Florida Security of Communications Act (Fla. Stat. Chapter 934) 934.03(2)(f): 934.03(2)(f) Telephone company tracing of obscene or harassing calls: notify local police within 48 hours

A telephone company employee may intercept a wire communication solely to trace its origin when the recipient asks and alleges it is obscene, harassing or threatening; the person doing so must notify local police within 48 hours of the interception.
