FedRAMP Rev 5 A.5: A.5 Agency partnership, authorization planning and the In Process request

A provider formalizes a partnership with a federal agency with a fully operational system and a committed executive team, confirms resources of at least a technical writer, a technical subject matter expert and a project manager, selects a 3PAO, agrees with the agency on a just-in-time linear review (recommended) or simultaneous delivery of all deliverables, completes with the agency an In Process request and a work breakdown structure sent to FedRAMP intake for review, on which the offering may be listed In Process with agency approval, receives access to the FedRAMP secure repository for Low and Moderate offerings (High offerings use their own repository), and uploads the kickoff deck; the agency AO, not only the program contact, must send the In Process request.
