Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (UAE PDPL) 21(3): Articles 21(3) to 21(7): assessment content, DPO coordination and regular review

The assessment must at least describe the proposed processing and its purpose clearly and systematically, evaluate its necessity and suitability for the purpose, evaluate the risks to privacy and confidentiality, and set out measures to reduce those risks. One assessment may cover a set of operations with similar nature and risks; the controller must coordinate with the DPO; and it must review the results regularly to confirm processing still matches the assessment when the risk level changes.
