Fair Labor Association (FLA) Workplace Code of Conduct C.4.1: Apprentice pay and the 30-day training allowance

What does C.4.1 require?

While training, apprentices and vocational trainees earn no less than the higher of the minimum wage and the industry's prevailing wage for regular workers, and get every benefit the law mandates; if local law permits a lower apprentice rate, it can be used only for the first 30 days and only where that period is spent chiefly on training, not production.
