Institutions must hold liquid assets whose value covers liquidity outflows less inflows under gravely stressed conditions over 30 days, without double counting, applying the liquidity coverage ratio of the Commission Delegated Regulation adopted under Article 460 (at least 100 %), and may use the buffer in stress. Assets count as liquid only if appropriately diversified, legally and practically available within 30 days by sale or simple repo, controlled by the liquidity management function, partly liquidated at least annually to test market access, processes and usability, and with hedged price risks still subject to the requirements.
