During an internal market emergency, a Member State may, on a duly justified request, authorise a listed crisis-relevant product to be placed on the market or used for own purposes without the notified body procedure, provided compliance with Annex II has been shown by the procedures named in the authorisation; the Commission may extend the authorisation Union-wide by implementing act, and the product must then show that it is placed on the market or used as a crisis-relevant good. The manufacturer must declare on its sole responsibility that the product meets all applicable Annex II requirements, carry out every conformity assessment procedure the national authority specifies, and comply with the authorisation's traceability, continuous conformity assessment, end date and post-emergency conditions. Such products must not bear the CE marking.
