EN 50716:2023 - Railway Applications - Requirements for Software Development A.13: Table A.13: dynamic analysis and testing

Detailed table for dynamic analysis and testing, applying when that entry is chosen in Table A.5, A.6, A.7 or A.11. Boundary value analysis is HR at SIL 1 to 4; equivalence class and input partition testing is R at Basic Integrity and HR above; structure-based testing is R at SIL 1 and 2 and HR at SIL 3 and 4; error guessing and process simulation are R at every level; error seeding is R at SIL 1 to 4; cause consequence diagrams and prototyping or animation are R at SIL 3 and 4 only. Test cases are derived at the relevant level from the specification, or the specification and the code; simulation completeness depends on the level, complexity and application. Error guessing and seeding are experience based; cause consequence, boundary and equivalence techniques are specification based; structure-based testing usually complements them at component level to reach coverage.

This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
