Application data may be combined with the hardware and software in a factory test ahead of installation, unless enough confidence comes from other means; the application then goes onto the target system and integration tests run in the complete installation, and the system is commissioned and tested overall in the complete installation. The Tester writes an Application Integration Test Specification covering correct integration of the data on hardware and software where needed and with the complete installation (typically in a more representative setting, such as on site, than the simulated environment of data production); the Verifier checks it and records the result in the Application Data Verification Report, which also checks the completeness and correctness of the tests on the complete installation. The Application Integration Test Report records correct and complete execution of the specified tests.
