Table A.8 lists the analysis techniques for validation: static analysis of the software (D.13, D.37 and Table A.19) R at Basic Integrity and HR above; dynamic software analysis (Tables A.13 and A.14) R at SIL 1 and 2 and HR at SIL 3 and 4; cause consequence diagrams R at every level; event tree analysis R above Basic Integrity; software error effect analysis R at SIL 1 and 2 and HR at SIL 3 and 4. One or more techniques is selected to satisfy the SIL.
