Changes of floor level within or entering stationary ICT must be ramped no steeper than 1:48, except vertical changes up to 6.4 mm and bevelled changes (no steeper than 1:2) up to 13 mm. An operating area inside must give a clear floor space of at least 760 mm by 1 220 mm. An internal access space must have at least one full side unobstructed; an alcove deeper than 610 mm needing a forward approach must be at least 915 mm wide, and one deeper than 380 mm allowing a parallel approach at least 1 525 mm wide.
