Data subjects may receive their data in a compatible, updated, structured, common, interoperable and machine-readable format, or have them transmitted directly to another controller where technically possible, without the controller slowing access, transmission or reuse; after transmitting, the sending controller deletes the data unless the data subject wants them kept, and the receiving controller assumes the Act's duties. The right applies where processing rests on consent for specific purposes, is automated, concerns a relevant volume of data as the Reglamento defines, or is needed for obligations and rights in employment and social security; the transfer must be economically efficient, quick and free of obstacles. It does not cover data inferred, derived or created by the controller's analysis, such as personalisation, recommendation, categorisation or profiles.
