ECSS-E-ST-10C System Engineering General Requirements (2009 edition)
Clause 5.5: Verification – ECSS-E-ST-10C System Engineering General Requirements (2009 edition)

ECSS-E-ST-10C System Engineering General Requirements (2009 edition) 5.5: Verify the complete product on its defined architecture per ECSS-E-ST-10-02

What does 5.5 require?

The system engineering function carries out product verification as ECSS-E-ST-10-02 lays down: it verifies the product on the physical architecture defined in the design definition file, places the product in one of that standard's verification product categories, specifies the configuration and environmental conditions for verification and the criteria for qualification and acceptance, confirms by analysing the results that every verification objective has been met, allows for human limitations when validating systems with a person in the loop, and makes the verification cover the whole product (hardware, software, people, operations) under representative mission scenarios from pre-launch through launch, early orbit, in-orbit and post-landing or their equivalents.
