Clause 5.1: System engineering plan – ECSS-E-ST-10C System Engineering General Requirements (2009 edition)

ECSS-E-ST-10C System Engineering General Requirements (2009 edition) 5.1: Produce and maintain a system engineering plan

What does 5.1 require?

The system engineering function writes a system engineering plan following the SEP document requirements definition, builds it with input from, and the constraints of, project management, product assurance, the engineering disciplines, production, and the operations and logistics teams, and ties it to the lower-level plans so that all of them stay consistent with one another. The plan's content grows with the project: risk and new technology early on, verification and validation later.
