FFPA data identifies the anomalous behaviours and functional failures delegated to the item from system level; the FFPs, their effects, the decomposition depth reached and the type and location of acceptable assurance data; the relationships, independence and inter-dependencies between FFPs and components (qualitative FTA, functional FMEA, dependency diagrams or common mode analysis); and the trace between FFPs and the hardware and derived requirements.
