Connecticut General Statutes Section 31-48b (Employer Electronic Surveillance Limits) 31-48b(d): 31-48b(d) Do not overhear or record employment contract negotiations without the consent of all parties

No employer or its agent or representative, and no employee or employee's agent or representative, may intentionally overhear or record, by any instrument, device or equipment, a conversation or discussion about employment contract negotiations between the two parties unless that party has the consent of all parties to the conversation or discussion. Penalty (31-48b(e)): a fine of 1,000 dollars, up to one year's imprisonment, or both.
