What does 7.9 require?

The organisation states the verification or assurance status of its Scope 1, Scope 2 (location and market-based) and Scope 3 emissions and, where third-party verification is in place, gives the cycle, status, type and level of assurance, the statement attached, the standard used (for example ISO 14064-3, ISAE 3410) and the proportion of reported emissions verified. Climate leadership points for Scope 3 require an annual, biennial or triennial process with compliant statements covering at least 70 percent of the reported emissions.
