The organisation reports the share of operational spend on energy; selects its energy-related activities; reports total energy consumption (excluding feedstocks) in MWh split by renewable and non-renewable sources for fuel, purchased electricity, heat, steam and cooling and self-generated non-fuel renewables; states fuel applications and fuel consumed by type; and gives electricity, heat, steam and cooling generated and consumed, with sector-specific versions for cement, chemicals, metals and mining and steel. Climate leadership points require renewable energy of at least 75 percent of total consumption (full points at 99 percent), renewable fuels at least 30 percent of fuel, and all self-generation from renewables.
