In performing backup and archiving the entity makes copies regularly, at a rate matched to the risk of data loss and how fast the data changes; labels each copy to show at least its content, the system, the method used and the date and time; encrypts, or at minimum password-protects, copies of sensitive information; holds copies on machines other than the originals and, where feasible, in a separate protected network; keeps one copy of critical operational information offline and, if possible, in another building or a remote location; and checks regularly that copies are adequate, fit their purpose and can be restored within the required recovery time.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
