Chapter Two, Section II: protection (Articles 13 to 31) – Bulgaria Ordinance on Minimum Requirements for Network and Information Security (2019)

Bulgaria Ordinance on Minimum Requirements for Network and Information Security (2019) 23: Deploy anti-intrusion and anti-malware measures on every component where possible, keep them current, run full scans at least weekly where applicable, scan email, downloads and portable media before opening, and periodically assess and improve their effectiveness

What does 23 require?

The entity applies measures against intrusion and for detecting and handling malicious software across its infrastructure. The anti-malware measures reach every component where technically possible and are kept up to date against new threats. They must allow a full malware check at least once a week where applicable, and must check email, files downloaded from the internet and portable storage devices before they are opened. The entity regularly assesses how effective the measures are and improves them when weaknesses show.
