Those authorised under the internal rules to request, change and terminate access must review access at least once a year, establishing whether everyone with access to the network, to particular systems and to applications is entitled to it by their duties, and whether external parties such as former employees or supplier representatives hold access and of what kind. System administrators provide the authorised persons with a list of all account holders and their access levels, and the authorised persons record either their confirmation or their instructions for change. Privileged access, meaning higher rights or access to systems a person's role does not call for, is restricted, granted only for a defined period and monitored while in use. Shared files and printers are reachable only from the network the entity controls.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
