On notice from the AVMO, the AVPO ought to send the AVCO MRM directions instead of tactical ones. For road vehicles one approach is to keep MRL data with the maps (such as hard-shoulder availability on motorways) and, where no MRM directions exist, to run slowly enough that a controlled stop is safe; for a pod, the default MRM is a controlled stop where it is, unless something better is available.
