The versions of the test criteria and of the Application and Interpretations (AIS) that apply are fixed when the application is officially accepted; moving to newer versions that the certification body recognises and that appear in the Verzeichnisse (Indexes) document is allowed during the procedure at the applicant's explicit request with the consent of all parties. The scheme documents are mandatory in the version the BSI publishes, and when new criteria are approved a transition period for new procedures is granted according to the extent of the changes. GSMA documents, SCAS documents and other NESAS-related documents outside the certification body's responsibility apply in the version current on the application date, with changes during the procedure again possible only at the applicant's explicit request and with everyone's consent.
