Since its recognition agreement with the BSI binds the facility to the scheme's requirements, the evaluation contract may contain nothing that would get in the way of a proper evaluation or of test monitoring, above all nothing that would stop evaluation findings reaching the certification body, and it must leave room for new or extra work during the procedure, such as further tests, corrections or additions to the evaluation report at the certification body's request, or workshops. The evaluation plan prepared by the facility carries its declaration of independence and impartiality and its confirmation of adequate technical equipment for the SCAS tests, and the certification body may reject an incomplete plan or one without an agreed schedule or sufficient proof of competence; all participants notify the others of deviations from the agreed schedule and revise it, with regular status calls recommended.
