Protects a room or cabinet for technical infrastructure structurally, mechanically and electronically in the sense of information security; a room here means a room or cabinet in a building, but by analogy also a container outside a building or a tent holding technical infrastructure. In Edition 2023 the Baustein carries 26 requirement numbers, 25 of them live: 8 Basis requirements (B, MUSS, to be fulfilled first and without exception), 9 Standard requirements (S, SOLLTE) and 8 requirements for elevated protection needs (H), with 1 number withdrawn (ENTFALLEN) and kept for stable numbering. It is applied to a building or room in modelling order R2. The requirements property on this node lists every requirement by number, title, level and responsible role, so a requirement is cited as INF.5.A<n>.
